All right, I managed to get over the 25,ooo mark! Half way there! Whew! It was hard, this week has been hell. My mind is NOT on the story, my characters refuse to do what I tell them to. They are stubborn and insist on having things their way. I’m the writer I tell them! I know whats best! But do they listen?? Noooooooo!
I managed 1238 today before I got so frustrated I told my characters to write it themselves! Huh! That’ll teach them! I’m up to 25306 and am projected to finish Nov 29th. So I am on track.
I think I’m going to go sit in a corner and pout for a while. Just been one of those kind of weeks.

I don’t like the “situation” but I like how you wrote about it. This is to be expected…if that’s any comfort. This too shall pass and they will listen to you again! Go girl!

Congrats on your 25k! You’re over the hump now, it’s freewheeling all the way down! And don’t worry about your characters, they’ll soon realise they need you just as much as you need them. 🙂

Yeah! NaNoWriMo Hump Day and my girl is looking fine. I’m sorry this week sucked. Don’t stop though. It’s just one more word after another..one more action or description after another…you can always pretty it up later. Don’t worry about the details!

I know this sounds odd, but have you tried doing some reading instead? taking a short break from writing and reading something you enjoy? or going for a walk? let your mind take things in instead of put things out.

It’s not odd at all girl. Sometimes I will read, this week I couldn’t even concentrate for that. Too much personal shit going on. But it will get better. Sometimes I play games too. It gets my mind on other things so I don’t over think the writing. Nothing works lately. ackkk 😦 thanks for caring girl. You don’t know how much I appreciate it.
