Two men stood before the strange creature, clipboards in hand.
“The parents were?”
Zebras
“How old is it?
Six months
“You only fed the parents genetically modified crops?”
Yes and the offspring
“Should we report it?”
No. We have orders from Monsanto big wigs to continue with project and say nothing.
“Aren’t these same crops being sold to the public?”
In limited areas, yes.
Newspaper headline the next day:
‘Baby born in America with the head of a bird and the tail of a cat. Doctors don’t know the cause of this phenomenon just yet. Baby is healthy and chirping.’
