The Whimsy Paintings of TJ Lubrano

I received a much awaited package in the mail yesterday. All the way from the Netherlands! It was just a small package, but filled with such beauty and wonderful whimsy.

In it was a small original painting by artist TJ Lubrano. She is one awesome painter and a beautiful young lady, inside and out. Just chatting with her on the internet whether on FacebookΒ or on her blog makes you smile. She’s full of life and love and lots of talent.

I fell in love with her paintings from the moment I saw one. I coveted one as my own and now I finally have one!

Go give her blog a look and tell her Jackie sent you! You will be impressed with her talent, then you will be bowled over by her bubbly personality. She herself is a work of art.

Thank you TJ, I hope to acquire many more of your wonderful works of art. Much love to you!

    1. Ciao Amy! You’re so sweet! Thank you so much πŸ™‚ This painting was part of a series where I used coffee and colors. Pretty fun to do! I should create a new line, maybe with flowy dresses!

    1. Thank you! It’s such a privilige to be able to share my art with people all over the world. It’s like I can connect with them with a bit of magic, you know? I do love magic. πŸ™‚

          1. Oh how lovely! I’d love to know his name, please. πŸ™‚

It’s very true. There have been days that I rather stare out of my window, because I’ve no idea how to tackle my work or responsibilities. However, the kind words from you, Jackie and everyone that knows me and my work, really makes a huge difference.

    1. Yay! Hope you liked what you saw! For now most updates or art peeks will be via Facebook. I will have a completely new portfolio section on my site soon. Well, as soon as I’m settled in my new home, because now all my art work are in boxes. The horror…

      Hehe ^_^

  1. Ms. Jackie!! I got lost in the world of packing boxes yesterday and didn’t have time to go behind my laptop. This was such a lovely surprise. Thank you so, so much for taking the time to write a post and for your sweet words (and the super kind words of all your readers, too!). I’m BEYOND happy that you’re happy and that you loved the package ^_^ I’ve no idea if I mentioned it anywhere, but the very first layer of this painting is done with coffee. πŸ™‚

Lots of love to you and a hug from across the ocean!

      1. Haha yesss! There really is coffee in the painting. It was the very first layer before I added the color! I love coffee too πŸ™‚ *high fives*

Now I’m inspired to create a few more coffee paintings! I haven’t painted with coffee in a looooong time!

  2. Yes, I couldn’t agree more, TJ is fabulous! Over the years I’ve collected four pieces which grace the entrance hallway to my home, so people know what mood I’ve established – silly and loving and playful!
