Hello people!
Hope everyone is enjoying their day. If you aren’t, don’t worry, it’s almost over with.
So today we have another Share Your World day. Thanks once again to Cee from Cee’s Photography for giving us another set of questions to answer.
For your blog do you basically use Windows or Mac, laptop, desktop, pad, or phone?
I always use my desktop, using Windows. I’ve never had a Mac, but I would like to have one, never could afford it. Who knows though, maybe my next computer. I don’t have a Smartphone, so no phone use. I don’t have an iPad either. It sucks being technology denied. Ha ha!
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I have always wanted to be a writer. Ever since I was taught how to read. I love stories and reading, and thought it would be so great to write stories that others enjoyed reading.
Did you grow up in a small or big town? Did you like it?
Well, I had a bit of a unique childhood in that I grew up in both, almost at the same time. My parents always had a summer place in upper Wisconsin that we went to during the summer months. Me, my sister and brother would be there all summer by ourselves when we got old enough. It was a glorious place to be in the summer, there was forest, lakes, streams and untold openness to explore and dream about. During the school year we lived in the big city in Wisconsin, so a bit of both every year. .
How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
Some days I feel 20, some days I feel 120, depends. But usually in my mind, I’m still about 30. Which of course I’m not, but that’s how I feel most times.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I’m grateful for the weather finally getting warmer, it seems this winter was longer than usual. Probably no worse than any other winter, but it seemed like it was. I’m also grateful for good friends, who understand me and don’t need things explained to them. They just get it and me.
I’m looking forward to more of the same of this past week. That’s good enough for me.
That’s kind of cool about where you grew up, best of both worlds.
I would believe you’re 30. 🙂

thanks sheena. I believe I’m 30 too 😉 It was great being in the country during the summer and the city otherwise.

That’s pretty much been my son’s situation for the last seven years. Mountains in coal mine country in the summer, city the rest of the year. 🙂

I liked the preface to this post, if your day is not going so well don’t worry its almost over. I use a mac, i grew up in a smallish town in this house, in my head like you I am 30, shame my body disagrees with me, I think when I was a kid I wanted to be a test cricketer. This week I am grateful for my best friend hanging in there with me, making me feel the best I can.

I think I want to live in your childhood summer home – it sounds WONDERFUL! How fortunate you were to grow up with someplace like that to stay and play!

Mac are not that expensive. We don’t have to worry about virus or protect against them. That is one thing I adore and the color clarity is much better. I don’t have a smart phone or pad either. I really only use my desktop. one day I want a laptop to replace the desk top, but I can’t justify it yet. Thanks so much for sharing.

I recently switched to a Mac – courtesy of Windows 8, which made me crazy. They do cost a bit more, but I think it’s worth it – but then, I’m also a bit of a technology freak.
