Share Your World – 2014 Week 23

Cee from Cee’s Photography has asked us 4 more questions this week. It’s up to us to answer them. It’s a lot of fun and a great way to get to know fellow bloggers. Why not come and join us?

Thanks Cee for some great questions again this week!

Would you rather be stuck in a small plane with mild turbulence for 2 hours or be a passenger in a car racing the Daytona 500?

I think I will have to choose the racing car in the Daytona 500. I’ve been in small passenger planes when they hit turbulence, it’s fun for about the first 5 minutes. Sort of like a carnival ride. But not 2 hours worth of fun. I think I would really be nauseous by that time. So I’ll take the race car, plus I like to go fast. So it’s a good choice for me!

Would you rather be alone with nobody in the vicinity for one month or never be alone, not even for a minute for one month?

This one is easy to choose. I would much rather be alone with nobody in the vicinity for one month than never be alone for even a minute. Oh wow, talk about a way to drive me freaking nuts! I mean no alone time at all? Not even to go to the bathroom? No thanks! I would hurt someone.

I’ve been alone for long periods of time before and it doesn’t bother me. I like me, so I’m not afraid to be alone with me.

Would you like to sleep in a human size nest in a tree or be snuggled in a burrowed spot underground?

Another easy choice for me. Definitely in a human size nest in a tree! I hate the thought of being underground so much I am not even going to be buried when I die! Cremation is the way to go for me and then scatter my ashes either in the woods, or if you can’t find the woods, a lone tree will do. How about the tree with my nest in it??  Works for me!

In a car would you rather drive or be a passenger?

If it’s a long trip, taking turns driving is good. Or to be a passenger. I love to look at things during a long trip. For short trips it can be either way also, if it’s a place I know how to get to. I have a tendency of having ‘little adventures’ when I drive to someplace new. I don’t get lost you see, I just have small adventures. Ha!

  1. Yeah, never alone for any time is too insane! I would break down from frustration.

  2. Yep, overall definitely agree, I would probably lean more towards preferring to be the driver than the passenger, but other than that, everything else I’m in total agreement! I love time alone actually, us introverts need alone time to recharge. I wouldn’t want it all the time, but to never have any alone time would be horrendous!

  3. Great answers Jackie, turbulence i agree is fun for about a minute. I think we all need some alone time and I have to admit I prefer to be the driver, but I think its important on a long trip to be able to take a break and let someone else drive.

    1. On long trips if you don’t take many stops yes for sure you need someone to help with the driving. Thanks for stopping in Michael, always a pleasure

  4. I could have written your answers except for the last one. It depends on who I have to ride with but because so many people are distracted or aggressive drivers, I prefer to do my own. My son is an excellent driver, my daughter a close runner up, my sister makes me put my head between my knees it’s so terrifying. Now that I can’t drive much, I stay home a lot. For many years, I drove all the time everywhere. I miss it. Claustrophobia requires tree nests. 😉 No time alone would be someones death. I came really close, then filed for divorce. 🙂

      1. Yeah. I thought it was time to get out when I started thinking how big the pillow had to be and bought a book about poisons. 🙂 The only place he didn’t follow me was to church services and the gym. I’m not a church person per se but kept going for an hour of peace. He’d wait at the door of the gym but not participate. I was in great shape then. 🙂 Even the quilt store was fair game for him. It’s why I must live alone now. Nerves are fried. 🙂

        1. Oh wow, that’s just crazy! Did he do that because he just liked your company? Or did he do it because he was weird and didn’t trust you? Yeah, that would have drove me away too.

  5. Interesting answers Jackie! I’d select pretty much the same, but would consider going in the plane (survived that many times but never done Daytona). On the last question, I’d say it depends on who’s the driver 🙂 I had a ride once in a Porshe 911 that I will not easily forget…
The nest looks very interesting, could be cozy!

    1. It was a toss up for me with the plane or the car. So I thought I’d go with the car as I don’t think I would like 2 hours of turbelence. lol
I thought the nest was interesting too. I hope it would be cozy. make one feel like one of your birds! 😉

  6. I agree with your answers. I don’t fly and I speed when I drive. I love my alone time too. I think that’s the writers in us. We have a bunch of characters in our heads. Definitely in a nest too even though I hate heights. I live in the basement and I have come to hate it. And driver passenger I don’t mind either.
