Hello People!
I just thought I would do a recap of some of the things that have happened on here so far this month for November and Nano Poblano. Since it’s the 15th today, a good day to do it.
I also want to let you know about The Great Christmas Card Exchange. It seems Mental Mama also had this brilliant idea! So we have combined the two. Now you have two places to sign up to get and send Christmas cards to other bloggers! So please, go visit Mental Mama, or click on my Christmas Card on my sidebar and sign up to help cheer a fellow blogger up this Christmas. I did this last year with a few fellow bloggers and it was a great time had by all. Please sign up today! Extra bonus folks, you get a Christmas card from yours truly!! 😉
The last few weeks I have done posts that covered a wide range of things. From scary true stories about a haunted mirror, to wacky daily celebrations. I’ve talked about pies, did poetry, answered questions about myself. Eh, I’ve done a lot of different things. We’ll see what the next 2 weeks bring.
If any of you readers have any suggestions on what I should write, let me know! I’m open to suggestions, or even bribery, hehehe. Really though, if you want to see me write something just leave me a comment. Do you want to see more flash fiction? More poetry? How about a short story based off a picture prompt? Do you want to read more about my crazy life? I’m ready for just about anything! And really I need the help with ideas! But shhhhh, that will be our little secret.
Now I am off to try to get some things done around the house and catch up on what my fellow bloggers have been up to! See you later!
And don’t forget to visit Mental Mama, tell her Jackie sent you!
I can’t believe you need help with coming up with something to write. I’m sure you have plenty of creativity hanging around in your head. 🙂

I think I got four or five suggestions from readers on posts that I think I will start on tomorrow if you want to copy (though one or two are pretty specific to my interests, so you may have to adapt them 🙂 )

Thanks kiddo, if I need them I will email you. 🙂

That’s a good question to ask Jackie. I like most of what you write. The poetry is even starting to grow on me. I love your mystery fiction pieces. You spin a good yarn even when it’s true. It’s how you tell the story that’s so riveting. I love hearing more about you and your life as well as Sam. Yes, I’m noisy. It’s the girl in me. 🙂 I’m having the same quandary right now and have fewer choices for my readers. My feet hurt so bad tonight, my brain is ceasing.

Well, go put your feet up for a while, then the ideas will flow. 🙂 I will see about adding some short stories for you.

Thanks for the shout-out! 🙂 Forgive me since I’m new here, but do you do creative things that don’t involve writing that you ever share? I ask because I’m getting ready to put up some pics of things I did with my husband and his kidlet today.

I paint, but haven’t for a while. Mostly lately, I read or write. I used to do lots of other things, but my fingers don’t want to cooperate much anymore. 🙂
I will look out for your post on what you’ve done.

I understand that. I used to do a lot of cross stitch and beading with seed beads. Lithium took pretty much all of that away.

with me its arthritis. These old hands don’t work so good anymore. But I can still paint thank goodness.

Personally on blogs I prefer to read about people’s lives, or thoughts/opinions, or funny stuff, rather than fiction or poetry. I mostly (not always) skip the fiction/poetry posts when people do them. Obviously I love to read fiction/poetry, but I want to do that during my book reading time, it’s not what I want to do during my blog reading time! Totally just a personal choice though, and no reflection on the quality of yours or anyone else’s writing!
How about sharing some childhood memories of Thanksgiving as it’s that time of year? (Unless you’ve already done that before of course and I didn’t see it!).

Oh wait, you’re in Canada aren’t you! Your thanksgiving has passed. Well you could still do childhood memories of your thanksgiving because the majority of your readership is probably from the states isn’t it? (I know mine is!).

Yes I live in Canada, but I’m from the states. So I have stories of Thanksgiving in both. Kinda. 🙂

Thanks Vanessa. I know a lot of bloggers think the way you do, but then a lot of them love to read fiction. So I will probably do a mix of things like I always do. I just like to get my readers point of view sometimes.
