Frost ~~~ A Poem

Frost sparkles on the grass
Silvery, glittery beautiful mass
Mother Nature’s shiny jewels
Who would think it’s just water molecules?

Frost, a beauty to behold
Why oh why are you so cold?
I watch as ghostly grass sway in the wind
Shards of ice swirl like dancers, so disciplined.

Frost slowly disappears
As a weak sun shine and perseveres
Misty ghosts of natures making fade away
Glittery dresses gone till another day.

I enjoy reading, writing, and painting. I love animals and at present have one dog (Sam) and 2 cats (brother and sister, Notwen and Pouncer). I've lived in various places in the USA and now in Canada. I've always enjoyed watching life and people and have developed an appreciation for it all. My outlook is sometimes out of the normal.... but that's what makes things so interesting! I am always interested in the opinions of others. Everyone has their own outlook and it's always worthwhile to listen!

  1. I really like the poem. It feels optimistic in a way. The pictures look a little stark though very wintery. I love the cold. It’s 80 degrees here today and the sun was lovely. I better soak it up.

    1. the pictures are from my office window. It faces the coolies in the back. It was pretty nippy that day. Not as cold as today though! It’s -22c out right now, that’s -4F. Suppose to get colder tomorrow. With wind, ugh.
