we shovelled snow for the first time yesterday, here in the flatlands of Switzerland. I’d forgotten the beauty of sunshine, snow and hills! but I know about shovelling snow in Alberta – sometimes it never seems to end there. the snow, I mean. white for five months… I was color starved by March.
Where I am in Alberta it’s not quite so bad. We get a lot of warmer weather in between the snow falls so it melts. It is pretty the first few times. After that it’s just work. 🙂
Hey, I finally saw my first snow of the season yesterday morning! Even with dropping temps, it still didn’t stick around and now it’s just brutally cold with no pretty snowcover…
It’s not too warm here either. At least for today the sun is shining. Ah, dishes and laundry. Ugh. We must have nasty imps running around. I swear they use all the dishes!

This morning I shoveled about 5 or six inches. I do get my exercise. 😉 It’s good to feel excited about things…even if it’s just snow.

I needed a good chuckle, it’s friggin’ 6 degrees out and lightly snowing. I want summer!
And the do it right the first time, I wish that were true for dishes and laundry as well. 😦

I ended up cancelling therapy and coming home early. I’m working from here, sadly, but it was better than dealing with rush hour snow traffic.
