Cee's Share Your World

Share Your World ~~ Feb. 20, 2017

It’s Monday, so it must be time for Cee’s Share Your World! Thanks, Cee for the questions each week.

When you cut something with scissors, do you move your jaw (as if you were about to chew)?

No, I don’t believe I do. Sometimes if I’m really concentrating on something I will stick my tongue out. Have no idea why… just seems to help. Ha!

Do you chew your pens and pencils?

Is this mouth week? LOL….Ok, no I don’t chew my pens or pencils. Yuck. You don’t know where they’ve been or what’s been on them. My problem is I do know where they’ve been! (makes you wonder don’t it) 😉

Are you a collector of anything?  If so what?

Do dust bunnies count? No? Eh. I used to be a collector. I collected Santa’s, snowmen, antiques, and books. Not necessarily all at the same time. First, I lost all my stuff in a fire, then a divorce, then because my mom was mad at me and my family members are vultures. So now I don’t collect anything but the aforementioned dust bunnies and no one else wants them.

Don’t feel sorry for me, though. When you live with less things you tend to enjoy what you have more.

What size is your bed?

I have a double sized bed which I share with Sam, my dog. He takes two-thirds and kindly lets me have the last third. Which you people with pets understand. That’s ok with me, it’s his snoring that sometimes gets to me……..

How’s your world doing today?

  1. Ha! Your scissors answer reminds me of my hubby’s common turn of phrase: “hold your mouth just right.” This pretty much applies to anything I can’t manage to do that he’ll accomplish in the first five seconds after I hand it off.

  2. “When you live with less things you tend to enjoy what you have more.” I love this! I’ve been working to get rid of extra stuff, and now that we’re moving, I’m trying to only move what we really want to keep.

Do you stick your tongue out straight or to the side, LOL? My family all seems to stick our tongues to the side when we’re concentrating. (It really does help!)

  3. This was fun. When you stick your tongue out to the side, it means you are more mechanical than most. It’s why the phrase “you have to hold your mouth right” to get something to work always happens to mechanical people. Bet you don’t have as much trouble figuring out how something goes together as some others do. My dog always took the most of the queen sized bed and she wasn’t much bigger than Sam. I did the snoring. 😦 I can share some of my dust bunnies. I have a painted bunny that says “this house is protected by killer dust bunnies” It sits on the front porch in good weather. If we ever have good weather again. 😦 I’m with you on the pencils and scissors. Yuck.

    1. Hmm. I am good at putting things together. I used to do most of the fixing things when I was young as my dad was not mechanically inclined at all! I still do most of the fixing. As for putting things together…oh yeah. Easy peasy usually. 😉 big hugs!

  4. I’m trying to get us to live with less things. We recently took a large desk to the garage, an elliptical machine, an office chair, and a sofa. They are destined for the dump. If I could get one of those big dumpsters into our backyard, so I could throw half of our household away, I’d do it! 🙂

    1. Maddie!!! When we moved we got rid of a whole big dumpster full of crap. We had the dumpster put in our driveway and it was overflowing when we had it picked up! 🙂 (I am working on an email to you)

  5. I can relate top the collecting things. I’ve lost so many memorabilia too that I don’t collect anymore. But I do save pictures and gifts from the kids. I have a pretty large collection of dust bunnies too. I bite my lip when concentrating on doing something. Good answers.

  6. I’m collecting dust bunnies too, although today some of them left the house in a hurry 😏 I had a small cleaning episode this afternoon. Fun to learn you are mechanical. I am not gifted in that way…had to put together my office chair twice. Horrible. I think that we are happier with less things, we did let go a lot when moving here,… and that is all good. I feel terrible for not having written to you, but hope for some peace and quiet this weekend. Hugs 🤗

    1. Yup, I could have been an engineer if I had the opportunity to go for that. But, I am what I am. 😉 Don’t feel bad about not writing, you know how bad I’m at it. LOL Hugs! 🙂
