What is one thing have you not done that you really want to do? 

There are lots of things I haven’t done that I wish I could. But either money or age is in the way. Like, travel to Europe and England and Australia. Go on a hot air balloon ride or a helicopter ride. Visit my online friends. Alas, not going to happen I’m afraid.

How often do you get a haircut?

About once every ten years or so. That’s how it’s worked out anyway. Last time I had it cut was about ten years ago. The time before that…..about the same. I don’t like myself in short hair, rarely have the money for a professional cut and don’t trust anyone to cut it so that it doesn’t look like hell. I trim it myself when I need to. I always have it up in a ponytail. I’m just one of those long-haired hippy women.

In regards to puzzle what’s your choice: jigsaw, crossword, word search or numeric puzzles?

Crossword or word search is my preference. I hate anything to do with numbers. Numbers hate me or should I say my brain hates numbers. I mean, I’ve done them so I CAN do them. I just don’t care for number puzzles.

How many cities have you lived? You can share the number of physical residences and/or the number of cities.

Wow, ask me the hard one. I probably forgot some but I will say close to…..10 or 12. Around there as much as I can remember. I’ve lived in Wisconsin, Mississippi, Texas, back to Wisconsin and then Canada. So yeah, quite a few. Most of the cities are in Texas with the ex. He had a bad problem of not paying the bills and then we would move, most times to a whole new town or city. I’m surprised he still lives in Texas as most places have people looking for him. ha!

  1. I’m sporting a shorter haircut only because I needed to get the last of the color out. Now that I’m not coloring it anymore, it’s healthier than it’s been in 20 years.
    I like long hair too and usually just wear it in a bun. Yay for long haired hippie chicks! 🙂

    1. I haven’t colored my hair close to 17 years now and yeah it’s a lot healthier. My silver shines! I could never put my hair in a bun, won’t hold. It’s very fine hair. It makes me sad I can’t. 😦

  2. You are a brave woman, Jackie, to even contemplate the idea of a helicopter or balloon ride. Those things would terrify me though I still fly by plane, Not willingly though. I’m growing my hair out long again too. The cost of cuts and perms is out of reach now so pony tail it will be eventually. I prefer my short and I hate finding long stray hairs in everything. Where did you live in Mississippi? My son was born there and we were living there when my daughter was born in Memphis, TN. I’ve never been to Wisconsin but traveled through Texas. BIG state. 🙂 Yes, money and circumstances can sure slow one down as well as age. ;(

    1. I don’t know if I’m brave or not. Just figure if I’m going to die that way…might as go in a blaze of glory. LOL
      We’ll form a long haired hippy woman club. 😉
      Oh my, I lived in Mississippi a whole lifetime ago….I’m not sure of the name of the town anymore…..Southhaven? South…something? lol
      Yes, Texas is a big state and I’ve lived in the North, South, and west of it. And in between.

      1. I remember you mentioning Southhaven once before! Now that you mention it again. Yup! My in-laws lived there and we were down the road in Horn Lake. Memphis was the next neighboring community. So close yet I rarely went to Memphis. That was 45 years ago. Sigh. I’m happy to join the long haired hippy women’s club. 🙂 I’ve always been a little hippy woo-wo9. 🙂

        1. I’ve only been to Memphis once and from what I remember we didn’t do anything memorable. I was in Southhaven in about 1980, so has been a long time for me too.

  3. I think you’ve had that same Gravatar for all the years I’ve followed you, and for some reason, it just looks like you have short hair… so that’s what I had always assumed! The things I’m still learning about everyone…

    1. Someone else mentioned that my gravatar picture made them think I had short hair. It’s one of my best pics so I never change it. lol But, nope, long hair on it too, just didn’t have it in a ponytail then.

  4. I like word search as well. Have been playing Word Brain on my iPhone for months now. I am 79% through together with about 45,000 other players…we were over 10 million at the start of the game 🙂 I find it develops my English and my brain 😀 As to hair cut, my hair is long too and I trim it myself, but also go to my hairdresser at times when my skill is not enough to cut my bangs properly…you should’ve seen me last month 😉 Hugs to you my friend.

  5. I do all sorts of puzzles, crosswords and brain teasers, Jackie, even the numbers ones (that I absolutely hate but do them anyway) 😉 I also cut my own hair (and everyone else’s hair around this place as well). Hairdressers are overrated 😉
