Weekly Photo Challenge: Good Morning!

Weekly Photo Challenge: Good Morning!

THIS WEEK, SHOW US A PHOTO THAT SAYS “GOOD MORNING!”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So this week’s photo challenge from WordPress is “Good Morning!” I like it. Morning is my favorite time of day!
Morning is as fresh as that first cup of coffee! Oh yeah, when I get up that’s what I head for first. Especially when the husband gets me Tim Horton’s before I’m even up! Large with 2 creams. 🙂
Then I have to let my dog Sam outside. After all I have done my morning ritual, now it’s his turn.
Depending on the weather I might sit outside with Sam for a bit. Lately it’s been too cold and windy in the morning. So instead I head for my ‘office’ and turn on my computer.
After checking on WordPress, emails and other stuff online I go to the grocery store and see what I can find.
Maybe on the way home I can see some wildlife. Who knows right? Except I forgot to take my camera with so I have to borrow a photo of the coolies I pass.
When I get home I’m greeted by two innocent looking felines. Do I trust them? Not a chance! They are always up to something.
So that’s my morning! Hope your morning was good.
Take the time and snuggle with your pet, kids, or spouse. Go out and enjoy Mother Nature. You’ll feel better for it.
Weekly Photo Challenge: Focus
I am not a photographer by any stretch of imagination. I do like to challenge myself sometimes. So I decided to see if I could come up with something for this weeks Photo Challenge: Focus.
My pets are like my children. I’m sure most pet owners can identify with that statement. I’m always taking pictures of them when they sit still long enough. Not too long ago I took some of Sam and one of my cats Pouncer. They were both vying for the same spot of sunshine.
The first picture is of the two of them. I really didn’t focus on anything, just trying to get a picture of them both wanting the same thing.
Then I took another shot of Sam basking in the lions share of sunshine.
I loved how the sunshine shown on Sam and made me think of a black/white picture. So I took another shot focusing on just Sam and how the light played with his coloring of black/white. I thought it turned out pretty good and is my favorite shot of my little guy.
Weekly Photo Challenge: A Day in My Life
What does your day look like? Here’s your chance to share with everyone a day in your life! Here are some suggestions to get started: snap a picture once an hour and share what your day was like, walk us through a typical day for you, or even just what happened today!
This is the Weekly Photo Challenge. A day in my life. Hmm not sure how exciting this is going to be. But I am willing to give it a try. I’m not very good at taking photos and my camera is just a cheap digital so I hope you keep this in mind. I had fun though taking pictures. 🙂
Getting ready to make Easter supper with my lazy animals. Just going to be a laid back Easter Sunday for me and mine. Hope everyone who celebrates this day has a glorious one! May light and love be yours!
