Hey, everyone! This week you get two weeks worth of Cee’s Share Your World in one! Aren’t you lucky duckies.

I had been having computer problems for a while when last week my computer decided to keep giving me the dreaded blue screen. I would be in the middle of something and POOF! Off it would go and up came the blue screen. Very frustrating. I finally had to break down and get a new one. Such an expensive pain but I can’t live without one….sooooooo……..I deal with it.

Needless to say, I missed doing SYW last week so I decided to combine this week and last weeks into one. Here goes……..

Complete this sentence: I want to learn more about …

Everything I’m interested in. Like, writing and painting. I would also love to learn more about my ancestors. My parents were not ones to talk about family. Most of them they ignored and feuded with. So, I don’t know a lot about the past or ancestors. Both my parents are gone now and even when I did ask my mothers questions she either would say she didn’t know or ignore the questions. I have no idea where to start but I’ve been thinking a lot about it lately.

On a vacation what you would require in any place that you sleep?

What is this ‘vacation’ you speak of? Well, when I used to have them or afford them and actually go somewhere I always needed a fan. I need that white noise and the air circulating to sleep. Although truth be told, I have never been able to sleep well in strange rooms or beds. I need my own.

What is your greatest extravagance?

I just bought it! Computers. I must have my computer and for me, in my money situation, it is an extravagance. So, I save, tighten the belt in other areas and buy it.

What is your favorite outdoor activity?

Going indoors. LOL I’m not much of an outdoor person anymore. I used to be when I was much younger. I would go camping and ride bikes and such. Haven’t done any of that in many years and don’t want to. I’m basically lazy. I don’t like bugs and am allergic to bees. I do sit outside when it’s nice with Sam (my dog) and watch the birds and the dragonflies. We had a robins nest in our front yard bush this summer. I would sit out and watch momma and daddy bird bring the three babies worms and bugs. I watched the babies first flight out of the nest too. I had to keep Sam from chasing the poor little things but it was exciting to watch.

In a car would you rather drive or be a passenger?

It depends. If I don’t like someone’s driving, I would rather drive. Even though I don’t do it a lot. I have no sense of direction. So if I don’t know exactly where I am going or haven’t been there a dozen times I get lost. It’s so embarrassing. I get lost so easily. I have even gotten lost going someplace I have been to lots of times, like the hospital. I still can’t drive there myself. I get lost. It’s bad folks.

If you could have three wishes granted for you alone, what would they be?

  • To have an endless supply of tax-free money so I wouldn’t have to worry about how to pay the bills and buy groceries for the month.
  • To have my health back.
  • To own a place where I could rescue lots of animals and take care of them.

I’m going to add a fourth wish here:

  • To be able to visit and help (if they needed it) all my online friends. I love you guys! ❤

  4. I agree on the computer extravagance. I’m about ready to spring for a laptop that was built in this decade. Both of my desktop and laptop are relics from 2009, still running Windows Vista, and move like a snail frozen solid to a pole in the winter…

    1. Wow, what brand are you using? I usually go through computers every 3 or 4 years. I have yet to have one longer than that. You will be amazed how fast they are nowadays. 😉

  5. Love your answers. The one about what you want to do outdoors cracked me up. I’m not much on bugs either. Had a yellow Jacket sting me two weeks ago and got swarmed so I’ve been inside ever since. My neighbor is in the process of getting rid of them for me Your wishes and mine are very much the same. I want to learn more about everything but have given up the family search. I have dozens of books on writing I want time to read and learn from. Too many interests keep me very scattered so I get proficient at none. We are a family of fan sleepers too. Even in winter. Fan must be going to sleep. I drag mine if I have to sleep somewhere else and my sister brings hers here if she stays the night. As for the extravagance, I’d only add the smartphone to the laptop. I rely heavily on the GPS to get me around. Unlike you, I have a phenomenal sense of direction but I can’t see the damn street signs. When I had to take my friend to the emergency room in the dark and had no idea where it was, I just program in the address and off we went, right to the door. I agree with you on being a passenger with someone who is a bad driver. Since I can’t drive very far, due to the dizziness, I have to rely on others and many shouldn’t be behind the wheel more than I shouldn’t. I’m a darn good driver in spite of my limitations. Ever have someone slow down to a crawl in the middle of the road because they forget they are driving? Scared the crud out of me. One was a younger driver than me, another, older and should not be driving.

    I am so glad you got a new laptop even though I know you can’t afford one. I hear you. It’s like being without your oxygen machine when you have lung problems. 😦 You have to pump out those words. Miss your flash fiction though. Just saying. You are a great story teller.

    1. Thanks, Marlene. I didn’t get a laptop. I got a desktop. I find it difficult to use a laptop. I have one. An old one that is sllloooowwww. LOL
      The yellow jackets are mean! They are out in full force here too. Fall is the time for them it seems. Don’t have a problem with them until fall. Nasty creatures.
      Yup, use my fan even in winter. Always have. I’ve been thinking of getting a GPS for the car. I have a smartphone (finally) but am on a limited amount on it as I can’t afford a ‘plan’. So I pay month-to-month. I suppose it has a GPS. Now I will have to check it out. LOL
      I have been with some scary drivers but none that ever forgot they were driving! That’s scary all right.
      I have been thinking of starting my flash fiction again. I miss writing but can’t seem to find my motivation anymore. Sigh. Big hugs my friend.

      1. I know what you mean about motivation. I have sewing machines and projects everywhere calling me to work. What do I do? I sit and munch on anything and watch drivel on TV. I should get rid of it. I can’t even make myself write a post. I hope the rain coming in will bring some change in the pressure. Gotta go shovel more mulch now. Hopefully the stink bugs have gone in again. I need out of this slump too. It’s really bad. Going to the doc tomorrow for a physical. Just too heavy. 😦 Big sigh here too. 😦 Giant squishy hugs.

  6. I loved this post 🙂 And I’m not an outdoor person either. It seems incomprehensible to me that people boast I walked 8 kilometers today – so what? I wrote another chapter today and that will be around long after they have forgotten all about that walk – past the same places again and again and again.
