Wednesday Comics ~~ Sam and Me, September 11, 2013

What is it about dogs? Why do they love to roll on stinky dead things? Sam has been doing this a lot lately. Especially right after a bath! Crazy dog.

Does your dog do that too?

I enjoy reading, writing, and painting. I love animals and at present have one dog (Sam) and 2 cats (brother and sister, Notwen and Pouncer). I've lived in various places in the USA and now in Canada. I've always enjoyed watching life and people and have developed an appreciation for it all. My outlook is sometimes out of the normal.... but that's what makes things so interesting! I am always interested in the opinions of others. Everyone has their own outlook and it's always worthwhile to listen!

  1. Our vet told us it was because the shampoo used on a dog leaves an unnatural scent that they are trying to get rid of. I switched to an unscented soap and it worked for our dog. Now if you can tell me how to get a dog to stop eating rocks. šŸ™‚

    1. I use an unscented baby shampoo on Sam, but I’m not sure what the groomer uses. I think Sam does it to be contrary. ha! Hmm rocks? That’s a new one on me. I had a German who would carry around bricks, but not eat them. šŸ™‚

  2. My big dog loves stinky stuff and eats grass like a goat. She’s not sick…just free-ranging. Now the weenie dawg has an appetite for empty toilet paper rolls and napkins. He’s part goat, too.
