What is it about dogs? Why do they love to roll on stinky dead things? Sam has been doing this a lot lately. Especially right after a bath! Crazy dog.
Does your dog do that too?

Our vet told us it was because the shampoo used on a dog leaves an unnatural scent that they are trying to get rid of. I switched to an unscented soap and it worked for our dog. Now if you can tell me how to get a dog to stop eating rocks. š

I use an unscented baby shampoo on Sam, but I’m not sure what the groomer uses. I think Sam does it to be contrary. ha! Hmm rocks? That’s a new one on me. I had a German who would carry around bricks, but not eat them. š

Carry bricks, did you put him to work? š

Nope. For some reason he just loved to carry bricks, the bigger the better. Course he weighed in at 140 lbs too. He was a big dog. š

My Kirby is only white for about 15 minutes after we get home from the groomer. After a week he is unbeatable. Ick.

My big dog loves stinky stuff and eats grass like a goat. She’s not sick…just free-ranging. Now the weenie dawg has an appetite for empty toilet paper rolls and napkins. He’s part goat, too.

haha! My Sam eats a lot of grass too. Since he’s actually black and white I call him my little moo cow. š

I remember those days with my furry son. Why the heck can’t they roll around in rose petals ?
