Do you believe in ghosts?
If anyone knows me well, they know I do believe in ghosts. Why? Because I have seen and heard them numerous times. I also have one that lives with me. I call him Abe. I wrote about him on my blog before. If you are interested you can read his story, where him and I first met, and how he follows me where ever I move since I was a child. His story is here.
irregardless of your physical fitness, coordination or agility: If you could play any sport professionally what would it be? Or if you can’t picture yourself playing sports, what is your favorite sport?
I don’t and wouldn’t play sports myself. But I love Hockey. About the only thing I watch anymore, sport wise.
Do you prefer long hair or short hair for yourself?
I have long hair, will always have long hair. I’m going to be one of those old silver long-haired hippy types. LOL I have never liked myself in short hair. Maybe because my mother insisted I have short hair when I was a kid. But now I have hair that goes past my shoulder blades. I usually wear it in a pony tail to keep it out of my way.
If you were on a small island, who would you want to be with? And where is it? How big is it?
I would want my best friends. They are the greatest, kindest people I know. They are also fun, witty, smart and a joy to be around. You know who you are!
As for the Island itself. Well, it would have to be someplace warm, but not too warm. Beautiful ocean views, white sand beaches, lots of trees. Somewhere isolated but yet accessible by water or air if necessary. Big enough to feel comfortable, yet small enough to feel cosy.

I think I could handle living on an island just fine. Nothing too cold, just so long as the water is warm and I can swim in it. No sharks!

I do live on an island…..a big one but an island…..and its warm, you can get here by boat or air, we have lots of beaches, warm winters, and the most lovable adorable inhabitants. Yes I love where I live. Great post Jackie.

I’m considering long hair when I’m older (if I still have hair!). I reckon I would make a good ageing hippy.

I remembered that you believe that ghosts exist (I do too) but have to read the Abe story again. I have long hair too now…ponytail this summer. Everyone always wanted me to have long hair and therefore I always cut it short in my twenties and thirties. Then shoulder length until this year when I let it grow…we’ll see how long, but right now I like it long 🙂 As to the island you described, sounds great!

I read through your post about Abe – very interesting indeed! I have a ghost in the RUC and her name is Abby (short for Abigail). She is amazing and has convinced my two best friends who are (were) total no-believers that she is here. She is very caring, but gets cranky when people don’t treat the house with love and respect (my builder was injured twice and both times his injuries came immediately after calling the house a ‘piece of shit’ – so he stopped doing it). Last year she saved my life so I’m writing a story about it xxx

She saved your life? How cool! Abe has saved mine too, but I haven’t written about it. Abe also made believers out of a few non believers lol. Abe gets cranky when I’m not treated well. He has always looked after me. xxx

Where have I been? I missed this one. I have your ghost story open to read later. It’s midnight thirty and I can’t sleep. Wind is blowing and messing with my ions. I too, believe in ghosts though I have not personally seen one. Funny about the Island, I don’t think about who I’d have there, more about the food that needs to grow there. Like bananas, pineapples, mangoes, that kind of thing. My hair stays shorter because when it gets long, it sheds everywhere and clogs up the drain. I need a bit of curl processed in and it’s hard to do long. I don’t think I’ve like my hair anyway I wear it. Somehow, I never think of you with a ponytail. Hmmm.

Wind does that to me too sometimes.
